These are two are my latest little notebook, journal cover books that I have created for Mothers Day. It is on the second Sunday of May here in Australia.
I loved this marble sign on a gravesite we recently visited when we were looking for my husband's forebears. Oops have just realised my foot was in there!!
Have a lovely day!

Raggy Lace Lampshade
I started off by dyeing my laces & fabrics a lovely dusky pink shade (photo hasn't picked up just how lovely a colour it is)!
I sewed & tied on strips of lace & fabric. My friend Pam made the lace rose for me. I added a bit of seam binding ribbon.
This is it a shabby little lampshade. I found the vintage lamp base & wire frame at a garage sale. I really enjoyed this project & can't wait to do another!

Photos From My Holiday To France
Thanks Suzi for reminding me to post photos! It was such a wonderful holiday & I would love to go again but I think I would make it a summer trip! Seeing the Eiffel Tower was awesome. It was built for a trade fair in 1889 & was supposed to have been removed after that, thankfully they kept it! I loved the markets & found lots of lovely goodies, old lace being a top priority! Some market stalls were really expensive but then some stalls were a real jumble & things would be cheaper! I used to be a florist so I loved all the little florist shops & market stalls selling flowers, I even loved taking photos of the vegies.
My next lot of photos are on my husbands camera so I will show them on another post!
Have a lovely weekend!
