I'm Home!

My holiday was fantastic!  Blake is just the cutest baby (I know I'm biased)!  Kiera his 3 1/2 year old sister is also just the cutest.  Here's a few pics of us playing in the snow up at St Arnaud Lake, we were also lucky enough to be there when it was snowing!

Will try & do a post later of some of the goodies I found while I was over there.

Bags Are Packed & I'm Ready To Go....

Tomorrow I leave Brisbane & head to New Zealand to meet my new grandson, Blake.  I have all the woollies packed as I'm hearing it's pretty cold there at the moment.

Earlier this week I celebrated my birthday with Linda & Lyn, friends from Old Petrie Town.  Here's a few pics of our Xmas in July party.

Calico & Vintage Lace Bags

I've been having fun the past couple of weeks making bags.  I've used calico and embellished them with antique & vintage laces as well as Paris graphics.  They're fully lined & I've used doileys for the inside pockets.

PS The baby's name is Blake Greyson and it's only 9 days till I visit them all in New Zealand.

My New Grandson...

This is my grandson, born this morning.  Isn't he lovely!  I have to wait another 2 weeks before I get to have cuddles though as he is in New Zealand & I'm here in Australia.  He weighed in at 9lb 2oz.  As yet he doesn't have a name.
